[TITLE]Natural Nail Fungus Remedies – Do They Work?[/TITLE]
There is a cure for nail fungus. If you or someone you care for has unsightly nails due to a condition called nail fungus, then it is recommended that you treat it right away. Nails affected with fungus often have an unattractive appearance, and it could lower your self-esteem and bring embarrassment. You wouldn’t have the confidence to wear sandals or open-toed shoes in public for fear of being avoided.
Personally, I feel that the best nail fungus treatment that has worked the most effectively for me is tea tree oil. Some people (usually women) swear by it because it is a common ingredient in skin care products. Yes, it is good for your skin. However, it can get rid of that awful fungus that you see on your nails. This is because tea tree oil is a very powerful antiseptic. Simply apply some tea tree oil onto the affected area. Now besides tea tree oil, I have also tried crushed garlic and that seemed to work pretty well too. Basically, I crushed some garlic and turned them into a paste, and then I applied that paste onto the affected area. Anyway, other natural remedies that you can try include apple cider vinegar, lemongrass oil and almond oil.
Another prevention technique is to limit your exposure to potential infection. This means wearing shoes in public places where others might unintentionally spread the fungus. Wear water shoes, sandals, or flip-flops around the public swimming pool and in locker rooms.
Nail fungus appears most of the times on hot places. And in these hot places there are pools to refresh us. And in these pools we are at risk. What to do? After going to a pool, wash your feet and hands very well with soap. It is better if we use an anti bacteria soap. If you are then going to use a public shower, please wear sandals! I think this is why this person close to me got infected. Public showers host easily fungus, because they provide the perfect environment.
People were not so concerned about it before. It was thought to be just a common thing among the elderly, but as information about toenail fungus spread, people became more aware that it is actually an infection.
What you must understand with these home remedies for nail fungus, along with all fungus cures, is that they take time. You should apply the cure until the entire nail is free of fungus. Because the fungus grows deep in the nail bed, the time it takes for your nail to grown out is how long you should use any cure.
The technician should also make their client aware of a problem when It is noticed. But in some cases the technician may not have the experience to recognize the fungus in the early stages. So then covering the nail again would only further contribute to the problem.
Though there are different nail fungus causes, they will have the same signs. It is always best to discuss with your doctor your nail’s condition for more help.
